This book is a roadmap, an architectural blueprint, a proposal, on how to develop Cis-Lunar Space from Low Earth Orbit all the way to the lunar surface. It covers everything, from building orbiting space factories to developing a lunar civilization, and everything in between. This including cleaning up space junk, and recycling it, mining near Earth asteroids, and they can prevent an asteroid from hitting Earth causing a global catastrophe, establishing O'Neill space colonies, something I picked up from the late Gerard O'Neill (and I've met him, if I may brag), even law enforcement and a code of ethics that should apply not only to space, but here on Earth. Many of the ideas in my past newsletters are in the book, so I want you to buy it.
Anyway, you can look at my past newsletters to see how I came up with these ideals, and it took me 35 years from writing the first word down on paper to publishing it, and I've been promoting it like crazy.
Many of you know that, and the above illustration and quote shows you the book and what one person thinks of it. Thank you Yash Mangrole.
One of the ways to promote it is to give some copies away, so there will be a book giveaway on Goodreads from January 10 to February 9, 2026. That a 30 day window. Any and all people can enter, but please put yourself on the "Want to Read" list. To enter, click: https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/show/428619-building-the-space-infrastructure-developing-the-cis-lunar-neighborhood.
The book is in hardcover print, retail value of $49.95 if you purchase it from amazon, and it will be signed by the author, that's me. Note that only 20 books will be given away, and twenty people will be chosen from the list of entrants, which I expect, I hope, will be long. All I ask is that if you did win a book that you read it and review it on amazon. If you didn't win, you can always buy it on amazon, in hardcover, paperback (that's cheaper) or kindle.
Now that I have informed you of my Goodreads giveaway, I hope you will enter. I will present my spiel below, with the Goodreads Giveaway Widget. It's long, but all you have to do is click it, it will take you to Goodreads, and you can follow instructions per se. Remember, if you don't enter, you can't win. Having take pride in my work, I can tell you it's a good book. The reviewers say so.
With our any further adieu:
Building the Space Infrastructure is my attempt to answer a simple question: if we’re serious about becoming a spacefaring civilization, what gets built first, and why? This book is for readers who want a clear roadmap—covering technology, policy, and ethics—rather than wishful thinking. Enter for a chance to win a print copy and decide for yourself whether my plan makes sense.
Click here for the link to the Goodreads Giveaway, and follow instructions. Good luck!
